TOP TEN OCTOBER 19TH-31ST

10. Jaxon has a field trip to the firestation. Grin goes with them and becomes the hero of the class the whole class insists on holding his hand while they walk, the girls decide to call him tall man so everyone did. He stayed and ate lunch with them and played at recess becoming the human jungle gym for practically the whole 1st grade. Jax at some point turned to his dad and wispered " Dad you famous". He then after school ran home as fast as he could so he could tell me all about tall man and the success of the day. Their are a lot of reason's having Grin gone on the weekends that drives me crazy but Jaxon or my self wouldn't have traded that day for a hundred Saturdays. I love that he gets to experience such fun interaction with his dad. However I will now and for ever be the "boring one" oh wait that has always been my title:)
9. Gavin and Ella go to play group in there costumes they were so excited
8. Grin wins another football game in Logan I thought we were done but I guess we just start playoffs this Tuesday.
7. Jaxon's school has a halloween carnival. I had to take the kids without grinner he was working they had a blast and played tons of games and won tons of prizes. They do an awesome job puting it together. It reminds me of the carnivals in the good old days at Barratt Elementary. Except the food I remember great loving the sloppy joes at Barratt. Burton's dinner has something to be desired. One slice of cold pizza and a warm can of coke. yikes
6. I get my house cleaned thanks to Grinner just in time to have the family over and mess it up again. However the guest bedroom finally got cleaned up after being the kitchen storage room thank goodness for having company.

Fun Filled Halloween!

I am sure that lots of you feel this way but since having kids I have developed a love for Halloween. I love to have theme costumes for the whole family and watch the kids get so excited for trick or treating Jaxon was counting down for weeks and then when it got here he said. "I can't believe that Halloween is here it came so fast this year"! So the theme as you can see below this year was star wars. This was stemmed because Jaxon wanted to be a Clone. I new the day would come when they would have strong feelings about who they should be. Thank goodness Gavin didn't seem to care so off we went with Star wars. I wasn't real excited but after finding costumes for everyone I got really excited. However the day before Halloween I got an email from the costume store I had ordered my costume from that said that they had canceled my order and sorry for any inconvenience. So I have to admit that I wasn't as on top of it as I should be but I ordered it the same day as the babies and they arrived 4 days before I got that email. To say the least I was not happy. So there I am as a "clone" with Jaxon. Such it life right. With or without the right costumes the kids had a ball. Ella quickly understood that if she went up to the door people would let her pick out candy and she started to insist on going herself dragging her bag behind her too cute! We then had a party with my family at our house eating good food and playing a hilarious game called cursed. All in all it was a great Halloween but it will take me the rest of this next week to clean up after it.
