Day 1 leaving and the salt flats

Getting ready to go we always have a hard time getting out the door

Me, Ella, Millie, Ali, and Mindy on the salt flats strange to walk on and hurt worse than you would think but it didn't stop the kids from running around but we all ended up white with salt


Day 2 Lake Tahoe


Our first night we spent in a camp ground in lake Tahoe it was the warmest water and weather we experienced the whole trip go figure. The kids had a ball skipping rocks and laying around.

Day 3 Redwoods, first dip in the ocean and the Sea Lions


we go through the Redwoods and try to find the tree you can drive through come to find out there are 5 or so throughout the forest apparently the idea caught on the one we found was not the best of the bunch I am sure.

My sis. mindy at the outhouse it was the funnest thing we saw a hollowed out tree with a crescent moon on the door too cute.

Day 4
Goofing around at the camp ground, Sea lions and lighthouses

Grandma working away in the trailer We took mom and dads trailer and camped the whole trip it was great fun!


Sea Lions caves on the outside we never made it down to the caves they wanted WAY to much money for a quick view of some sea lions behind glass. So we took a look from the outside.

Inside the light house we got to go all the way to the top well almost.

Day 5
Tillamook Cheese factory and Shipwreck Beach

Shipwreck Beach there are remnants of a ship everywhere sticking out of the sand crazy and fun to see!

DAY 6
Kite flying, beach fun, Sea Side, and the Aquarium


Oh how the Kites FLY!!

notice the bottom to the left he!he! I didn't mean to do that but we are all still in our hoodies that lady is as crazy as the kids!

It might have been a freezing beach and there for not great to play in the water but we have never had better kite flying time. the kids could just lay on the sand and the kite would fly on.

The kids get to see Sea Lions up close and personal and they get to touch clams, star fish, anemia,and many others they LOVED it!
