A Las Vegas Wedding
Grin's cousin who he grew up with and hadn't seen forever got married in Las Vegas on the 8th of August. So we decided to make a weekend of it and flew out to Vegas for the Wedding. I really was expecting something out of this world a Bellagio Wedding I mean the movies come to mind. But although it was very nice it really wasn't much different than a wedding at home. The Chapel was nice and did quite look like those "wedding chapels" in the movies. The bride was fairly strict Protestant or something and they had a priest marry them. they did a very cute thing with candles and the priest talked about how they were two separate candles burning and now they have been united into one large flame they had the kids each take a candle and light a center candle and then blow out the individual candles a cute symbolic gesture. We spent the rest of the weekend walking around Vegas and seeing the sights we went rode the roller coaster at NY NY and then went and saw the dolphins and the tigers and Sigfried and Roy's secret garden which was actually pretty fun minus the price to get in. I love dolphins and had a ball watching them jump and play there was a baby there and he was so cut. All and all it was a great short getaway and a good excuse to buy some new shoes check them out in the Pict's. RED yeah me!!
The wedding couple reciting there vows which by the way were so long they just kept repeating what the minister said forever:)
a huge chocolate fountain it was awesome apparently one of the biggest in the world. Don't get too excited you couldn't dip your strawberry in it it was under glass what a waist right?
