Tradition #1 Temple Square
Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without Temple Square. We love going to see the lights and tend to combined this with my little sisters birthday something that she doesn't exactly love but we had a good time eating cake and having hot chocolate at the Lion House pantry and then watching the lights through our glasses that make images in the lights so fun!
Tradition #2 Picking a tree
Yes we have 5 trees in our house two of them are only 4ft in the kids rooms. But still a few trees and we of course have to have a real tree in the basement where we put all of our memorable ornaments and the kids get to decorate and pick out themselves. So every year head out looking for tree. This year it took only about 20 minutes to find one but another half hour to get the kids out of running through the trees so much fun!

Tradition #3 Going to see Santa
Tradition #3 Going to see Santa
Grin's work has Santa come and deliver presents to all the kids. They give them quite nice presents and Santa was so cute. It is the perfect way to see Santa and we get to avoid the mall

Tradition #4 The Nativity
Before we were all married on Christmas Eve of course we would act out the nativity. We have carried on this tradition with our kids. We spend Christmas Eve with our in laws now so we have now started "Christmas Ever" or better known as Won tong night the Sunday before Christmas we "eat won tongs"(uncle Bobs specialty) and dinner and act out the nativity. We were a little short on kids so Grin pitched in and was Joseph this year (The kids all wanted to be wise men and shepherds) Dad reads the nativity and we sing songs after we are done we continue singing songs and banging instruments it is FABULOUS but the boys tend to role there eyes and sleep every party needs a pooper right:)
